Monel 400 wire mesh introduction:
Monel 400 wire mesh is a kind of nickel-based alloy material, possessing excellent corrosion resistance. With good resistance to oxidation and reduction media, high temperature and seawater corrosion, it also has high strength, toughness and good welding performance.
Monel 400 wire cloth can be made into filter, heating element, demister. What's more, it also can meet your application needs in refinery, boiler feed water heaters, salt production, desalination, or chemical equipment, etc.
Monel 400 alloy contains minimum 63% nickel and 28% copper. It is essentially non-corrodible. It Is more resistant than copper to oxidation and is more resistant than nickel to reducing conditions. Monel was very popular in the past for food processing due to its excellent corrosion resistance and high strength. This 400 grade monel is highly resistant to the corrosive action of acids, alkalides and salt water. It has the same strength of mild steel.
